The Sunday before Christmas has almost always been “pierogi day” in our household. It is a tradition that goes back generations. In recent times, however, we thought about breaking tradition, from the standard potato, sauerkraut, etc. flavors. After experimenting with a few unique flavors one Sunday afternoon, and testing these new creations on family and friends, a new venture was born! From the apple and blueberry pierogies to the unbelievable “Hoagie Pierogie,” we were pretty sure we had something special. Before long, the Philly Cheese Steak and the Buffalo Chicken pierogies were a big hit, too! We have surpassed the 35 flavor mark with chocolate and peanut butter & jelly, but our customers still ask, “What’s new?” You never know!
