Shady Glen Farm is a beautiful 25 acre farm located in Narvon, Pennsylvania. The farm house, built in 1810, is home to Sylvan and Barbie Stoltzfus and their three children. Sylvan works full-time from his own blacksmith shop on the farm, shoeing horses.
The Stlotzfus family also owns a few Jersey cows, which are completely grass-fed, and provide them with plenty of fresh milk. The family uses the milk to make their own butter, cream cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and ice-cream. Sylvan and Barbie are intentional in caring for their animals and land, and strive to grow and produce quality products without the use of hormones or pesticides.
Barbie has a large vegetable garden and also a wide variety of flowers. She has been arranging flowers for 8 years and is very talented in creating attractive, appealing bouquets. Shady Glen Farm Flowers provide customers with inviting arrangements of some of the loveliest flowers around!
Shady Glen Farm has agreed to provide Doorstep Dairy with fresh cut flower bouquets this summer. To help kick this off we will be delivering a free bouquet of fresh cut flowers to each customer who places an order to be delivered on July 9th or 16th. We will be delivering these arrangements along with our regular deliveries.
Doorstep Dairy is planning to offer a flower subscription to our customers, beginning in the end of July. This is new venture for Doorstep Dairy and Shady Glen Farm. The Stoltzfus’ have agreed to provide ten people with fresh flowers for ten weeks. We’re excited to offer some of Barbie’s beautiful flower arrangements!
We would love to hear your feed back on this idea.
