Thanksgiving 2024

Thanksgiving 2024

Happy Thanksgiving from our girl Shauna and her new lamb (above). We are thankful for a healthy mama and baby, because we were not aware that she was ready to deliver yet! It’s so sweet to see the lamb running around with her mama and the other sheep. Happy Thanksgiving from Ginger, Bucky and Bullseye, as well (below)! Our calves are thankful for good grass and head scratches. They also enjoy running along when we go for walks around the pasture.

This year, our family is thankful that our oldest son, Wyatt, is home from college for over a week. Because of some hard things that friends of ours are experiencing, we are extra thankful for our health and our parents, too. The kids are memorizing Psalm 100 this month, but it’s appropriate for all of us.

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100
