Concord Grapes
Concord Grapes from the Finger Lakes region of New York are now in season. We are taking pre-orders for these purple beauties. They will be available for delivery in Half Bushel boxes for the first two weeks of October.
These seasonal sensations are NOT great for eating raw. They are NOT a ‘table grape’ as they have thick skins and many seeds. They are, however, great for making grape juice, grape butter, grape jam, wine, etc.
Kaleb from WyseGuide.com has a great article on various ways to use and preserve Concord grapes. If you have never made anything with Concord grapes, it is worth giving it a try.
